Somewhere along the way on this journey towards myself

I broke my foot

Somewhere along the way I forgot to move forward with joy and ease

Somewhere along the way I forgot to remember this life

As a place of miracles with every breath

As a place of wonder and grace and grief and all the tumultuous glory of being human

Somewhere along the way on this journey towards myself

I remembered to breathe and attend and listen and to love

And to move!

I might forget again yet in this faith walk, in this journey deeper and deeper into the interior world of myself, I trust I will remember, again and again

To live this precious life one emerging moment at a time
